Backflow Tester Certification
Water Systems 3,300 Population and Under

This notice is to make each water system that is 3,300 population and under aware that the Arkansas Department of Health, Division of Engineering “Operator Certification Reimbursement Grant” has been expanded to include the Arkansas Rural Water Association  “BACKFLOW TESTER CERTIFICATION” forty hour school to be eligible for “Operator Reimbursement”.

BACKFLOW TESTER CERTIFICATION:
If your water system is 3,300 populations and under, your water personnel are eligible to attend the Arkansas Rural Water Association’s BACKFLOW TESTER CERTIFICATION School and be reimbursed for the registration, hotel and meals. To be reimbursed you:

  1. MUST submit a letter to ARWA on your company letterhead stating that your system is eligible by being system less than 3,300 populations served.
  2. Name of person or persons planning on attending this course.
  3. List the date or dates of course, name of course and location of course.
